Am I eligible for a Vauxhall Motability car?
If you receive the Higher Rate Motability Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or the War Pensioners’ Motability Supplement (WPMS) then you could qualify for a Vauxhall Motability car.
How does the Motability Car Scheme Work?
If you meet the Scheme’s criteria you can exchange part or all of your Motability allowance for the use of a new or used Vauxhall Motability car. You will be entitled to a new Motability car every three years under the scheme, and have a choice of two lease options. The most popular leasing option is Contract Hire, which includes everything from insurance and tax to maintenance, tyre replacement and RAC breakdown cover.
If you would prefer to purchase your own car and use your allowance to pay for it hire purchase may suit you and we will be happy to discuss your options. Under the hire purchase agreement you will be required to organise and pay for your own insurance, servicing and breakdown cover.
If you are unable to drive, you can even nominate up to two people to drive for you, with the option to pay extra for a third. We understand that disabled drivers have highly specialised needs, and all our Vauxhall Motability cars are available with a range of adaptations at no additional cost.
